What is it about?
Caring appears in five intertwined fields of business, and is realized in the analogous business practices of spiritually oriented entrepreneurs, regardless of whether they are committed to Christian or Buddhist values, if: (i) they consider the interests of their employees to a great extent; (ii) they treat their stakeholders equally by awarding the same importance to their suppliers and all other partners in business as they award their customers; (iii) they pay attention to preserving culture and the natural environment; (iv) they have a long-term orientation, and aim to achieve long-term sustainability; and, (v) they define the goals of business more broadly than simple profit-maximization.
