What is it about?

The result of the analysis of the long-weighted relationship of male sludge shells is described by the equation W = 0.0001.L3,366, with the correlation value (r = 0.8559). The t-test result of the coefficient b> 3, at the price of t = 5.4053, is reinforced by the test result sigF = 0.00 <0.05, meaning that between the growth rate of length and total weight of the male sludge is unbalanced, which is allometrically positive or allometric major. For female sludge shell is depicted through equation W = 0.0001.L 3,381, with correlation value (r = 0,8865). The result of t-test of coefficient b> 3, with price t = 7.0811, is reinforced by result of sig test F = 0,00 <0,05 it is that between growth rate of length and total weight of female sludge shell is unbalanced, allometric positive or allometric major. The results of the conditional factor (CF) analysis of male silk shells, averaging 1.0319 (range 0.4025-1.6613), female mud shells averaged 1,0203 (range 0.4780-1.5625). This indicates that the condition of the condition between male and female averages of 1 which means that the average weight of the shell sample is greater than the average weight of the prediction. This is due to good environmental conditions in supporting the growth of mud shells.

Why is it important?

The study was conducted on Tobea Island with the aim to analyze the relationship of weight-length and mud-clam conditions. The data were analyzed to determine the relation between the length of the sludge shell weight and analyzed by using power regression equation (Ricker, 1975) and T-test while the condition factor using Conditional Factor (CF) method (King, 1995).
