What is it about?
We develop an abstract linking result to deal with indefinite problems. This result provides a weak solution for elliptic equations when we are able to establish a linking geometry for the problem. Spectral theory is te key to get such a structure.

Why is it important?
We prove a result which can provide a solution for several indefinite problems and develop a new approach for solving Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations with sign changing potentials.
Perspectives
This work is the first of a various we intend to do following this line of investigation. We have learned a lot in our collaboration while we produced this paper.
