What is it about?

This article discusses the lives of young Venezuelans who decided to migrate to Argentina during the crisis of displacement their country in 2019. The research explains what this youth decides to show, what their priorities are, and how they present their new life to the audience. The conclusion is that different from the stereotype of marginalized citizens in the border, they sought to restore not only their dignity, but their right to taste and consumerism, while not forgetting the social issues behind them.

This research places more emphasis on the image of the young migrant as an individual who is more wired and updated than the media portrays. It discloses life stories that are not possible to access only through the lenses of literature or the mainstream media.
