Why is it important?
The standards for the preparation of educational leaders are currently under review and will be released this fall. This analysis establishes the empirical foundation for our knowledge about what educational leaders need to know and be able to do.
Perspectives
Our aspirations for the activities for educational leaders at both the building and district level far outstrip our research on the impact of those efforts and this analysis highlights the need for more and better research in a number of areas.
