What is it about?

Polyvictimization is the experience of multiple types of adverse experiences in childhood. Much of the existing literature highlights the impact of victimization types in isolation rather than assessing them together. Prior research has also revealed that adverse childhood experiences, such as sexual abuse, can influence emerging adults sexual behaviors. The present study assessed the impact of polyvictimization on risky sexual behavior in a sample of college women.
