What is it about?
Schools are a primary venue for youth to receive mental health care. In recent years, States and local communities have received significant increases in funding for school mental health services through COVID relief funding and other federal and state investments. To maximize impact and return on investment, States should consider strategies including cross-sector partnership, strengthening Medicaid coverage, enhancing data systems, and creating state technical assistance and training support.
