What is it about?

This paper discusses the importance of IoT as an enabling technology for creating smart spaces in education. It emphasizes the potential impact of transitioning to smart education, integrating IoT and AI into the educational system, and how it can enhance learners' engagement, motivation, attendance, and deep learning. The study also addresses the challenges faced by traditional education and reviews smart solutions (e.g., smart pedagogy, smart assessment, smart classroom, smart administration) that can be implemented to improve various aspects of the traditional system, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
