What is it about?

We compared the definitions to see what targets they are measuring (e.g., information source, website) and dimensions in their measures (e.g., usefulness, ethical, genuine). We further classified the dimensions of these concepts into conceptual categories.

Why is it important?

Evaluating the quality of algorithms-generated content is urgent in the face of the challenges of Large Language Models, AI technologies, and misinformation. Three intertwined concepts are central to these topics and our conceptual comparisons of them help researchers choose the proper concept for their studies. We identified Ethics and dimensions related to the users' affective feelings are are increasingly measured in recent years.

Perspectives

We think that Trust involves potential risks, which are suitable to describe the asymmetrical Human-AI relationships, however, trust is largely measured by a single-item scale which requires future research to unpack its scope. Developing measurement of Ethics is necessary.
