What is it about?

Excess fluoride intake can lead to skeletal fluorosis, a condition in which there is abnormal new bone formation in different parts of the skeleton. We report a case of the development and progression of skeletal fluorosis manifesting as new bone formation in the hands, caused by inhalant abuse of fluorocarbon-containing compressed gas duster used for cleaning computers.
