What is it about?
26 children aged 3-11y with glue ear waiting during the pandemic for a grommet operation. Due to covid-19 Hear Glue Ear product was sent in the post. Children were successfully managed remotely which supported children until services reopened or until their glue ear self resolved.

This paper shows how children with glue ear can be managed remotely with affordable headphones and an app.
Perspectives
Children with glue ear could be managed effectively in their own homes and communities until it self resolved, saving the NHS money and empowering families to know how to manage it if it recurs.
