Why is it important?
Ardebil plain which is situated in North-west of Iran, in recent years, is faced with a sever decline in groundwater level because of decreasing of precipitation, occurring of successive long term droughts and over exploration of groundwater for irrigating the farmlands.
Perspectives
Prediction of groundwater occiliations can provide valuable information for water resources palanners and managers to design approprite plans for providing water demands especially in dry seasons.
