What is it about?
Colombia have been vaccinating children against hepatitis B since 1993. Now, it seems that transmission of this important cause of chronic liver diseases is about to be eliminated among children at least. It would lead to an important decrease of the number of deaths by cirrhosis and other chronic liver diseases in the years to come.
