What is it about?

This study focuses on Health-oriented leadership (HoL), a concept that involves a leader's attention to their own health (SelfCare) and their approach to the health of their followers (StaffCare). The research aimed to understand what influences HoL by examining how job resources and demands affect leaders' SelfCare, work engagement, emotional exhaustion, and subsequently their StaffCare. The research supported the idea that the relationship between job resources and StaffCare is serially mediated by SelfCare and work engagement. However, for job demands, the serial mediation through SelfCare and emotional exhaustion to StaffCare was not significant.
