What is it about?
Gstp is most notable for its roles in detoxification and deoxidation as well as cell development and apoptosis. Our study found that Gstp knockdown in the developing cortex results in neuronal morphology defects.

Why is it important?
Our findings show the importance of Gstp in neurite formation, especially the early step of neurite formation called neurite initiation. This is the first evidence about the importance of Gstp in cortical development.
