Why is it important?

A conceptual model to study the dimensions of sustainable mobility and their relative impact on sustainability has been proposed, for future research. The emerging literature on the life-cycle sustainability of EVs like Circular Economy and innovation has also been discussed. The study also helps understand how sustainable mobility fits in the context of social, economic & environmental dimensions of sustainability.

Perspectives

This chapter helped me capture the different nuances of mobility and sustainability together. As climate change becomes an omnipresent reality, I feel that the transition to EVs will help reduce the impact of transportation on the environment. Exploring challenges faced by developing countries in the transition to EVs was also a great takeaway from this article
