What is it about?
This study examines various dangers and attacks to which Body Sensor Networks may be exposed, security measures to thwart those assaults, and proposes an authentication mechanism— the Feige Fiat Shamir scheme— for establishing authentication between gateway and body sensor nodes.

Why is it important?
Body Sensor Networks (BSNs) are used to transmit patient data to be stored in cloud, so that it is available for processing and analysis. While data is being transmitted through the medium, there is prone to different types of security attacks. The threats and attacks to BSNs are discussed in detail in this work.
