What is it about?

The article is about the study of finite-size plasma. We all know that plasma is a fourth state of matter and has an application in different domains. In a real scenario, we always have a finite-size plasma instead of infinitely extended periodic plasma from the simulation point of view. The article explains the fundamental physics of having a finite-size plasma with inhomogeneity in plasma density at the plasma edge. The showcase image shows the electron oscillations in the plasma edge, which eventually break due to the phase mixing process.
