What is it about?
It's basically an analysis and solution for handling inaccuracies on account of violation of the assumption of a stationary signal within the analysis window. Usually, time-varying signals are analyzed using a windowing concept. The signal is assumed to be stationary during this period, however, the actual scenario may dier and this may lead to inaccuracy in the estimation. This paper tries to handle such scenarios.

Why is it important?
We have proposed a solution using the concept of spectral energy to handle the time-variations in the signal within the sliding (analysis) window. This may significantly improve the performance of any sliding-window signal processing technique.
