What is it about?
Empathy is critical for adaptive social functioning, and so it is important to understand how it relates to indicators of mental health. However, it is complicated to measure empathy. For that reason, its association with schizophrenia risk (i.e., schizotypy) is unclear. This paper uses a number of empathy measures to explore this question and consider implications for psychosocial functioning.
