What is it about?
A catchment in a typical underdeveloped region was studied to obtain a detailed picture of the physicochemical characteristics of the river. Chemical criteria of water quality such as suspended and dissolved solids, pH, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen and several cations were determined periodically at a number of representative sites.
