What is it about?
A piston seal built in the form of a concentric slit with an isolated channel in the body of the piston, which is connected to the pump cavity through an automated check valve is analyzed. Basic results of the analyses are presented for the piston seal with an isolated groove and for a piston seal with an isolated groove with a built-in check valve

Why is it important?
A compressor pump is intended for simultaneous production of gas and liquid under pressure. To enhance its operating efficiency, it is possible to use a piston seal fabricated in the form of a concentric slit with an isolated channel within the body of the piston, which is connected to the pump cavity via an automated check valve.
