What is it about?
By using a robotic liquid handler, one can fast and effectively determine which catalyst is the best for a specific oxidation degradation reaction of pollutant dye. The is referred to as high-throughput experimentation, and it involves the screening of different catalysts (or parameters) at the same time. Moreover, multiple replicates can be included in a single experiment, increasing the precision of the reaction. Using such an approach, the kinetics of PVP NPs in the degradative oxidation of a pollutant dye was investigated.

Why is it important?
This approach will allow researchers to quickly optimize different parameters in a reaction. Moreover, multiple different catalysts can be screened for reactions to determine the best suitable catalyst for a specific reaction.
