What is it about?

Quantum information processing, such as routing, entanglement generation are usually very sensitive to errors. Here, we propose a 2D quantum spin network that is designed by applying a unitary transformation on two uncoupled spin chains. Our spin network system is then used to achieve desirable phenomena and is very robust against different types of disorder.

Why is it important?

The advantage of our system is that it is a generic model and therefore it can be realised in many different platforms, such as quantum dots, trapped ions, and superconducting qubits. Furthermore, the robustness of our system makes it a promising candidate in future quantum technology.
