What is it about?
The work carried out with the objective of improving the quality and quantity of water in the hydrographic basin, using soil conservation techniques. The concept of conservation agriculture was also introduced in agricultural properties and increased productivity of pastures that had an increase in occupancy of cattle by 53%.

Why is it important?
Our conclusions and indicators show that soil conservation, if carried out well, increases the quantity and improves the quality of water used for public supply. Thus, the strategies managed to change the habit of local farmers, changing land use and increasing productivity with sustainable production.
