What is it about?
Magnatic multilayers play an important role in electronics. We demonstrate that the magnetization depth profile in the periodic [Fe/Cr] multilayer and its evolution under an applied field can be determined by Mossbauer reflectivity.

Why is it important?
Our measurement show that Mossbauer reflectivity spectra in addition ro the reflectivity angu;ar curves supply us with the detailed information about magnetization arrangements in multilayers.
Perspectives
Synchrotron radiation essentially broadens the potentials of the Mossbauer spectroscopy in the magnetic multilayer structure investigations.
