Why is it important?
While the private renting sector is understood as providing 'homes' for tenants, it should be clear that it also provides an asset strategy for landlords; and it contributes to increasing wealth inequalities.
Perspectives
Quite funny, I am all three: an insecure tenant in the UK rented sector; a homeowner of a home from which I have been away for 14 years; and a landlord keen to offer a secure, homely place for someone needing it :)
