What is it about?
It is about getting other Lecturers' and Doctorate students' opinions regarding my developing and implementing REMAD COCOPER Learning Strategy in a Quantitative Research Methodology Course. The FGD participants agree that the REMAD COCOPER Learning Strategy has the potential in supporting and are appropriate for developing the capabilities of Biology teacher candidates, developing competencies for acting in the 21st century, developing Life-Based Learning-Oriented learning, in accordance with national education goals, can be implemented in lectures for Prospective Educator Students, and supporting social system processes, including (1) cooperation, (2) equality, and (3) intellectual freedom

Why is it important?
The Biology Education Students’ Global Competitiveness can be improved by developing their capabilities in living in society, learning and innovating, and using information and technology tools. The magister students are asked to apply their technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge, skills, and/or values (those they learned during their undergraduate program) to their learning and teaching practices in class. They are also asked to choose one of many learning models, and not to implement "no-name learning", that has low accountability and has a very low potential in empowering the various skills needed in the 21st century
