What is it about?
Inter-organizational mentoring is an alternative mentoring practice that is beginning to be put into practice by professional associations. Unlike traditional mentoring, inter-organizational mentoring takes place when mentor and mentee belong to different organizations. The mentor is a fundamental part of the inter-organizational mentoring process, so it is necessary to know the outcomes this type of alternative mentoring practice provides to the mentors. This is an exploratory article of which the objective is to determine through quantitative methodology the mentor outcomes in the practice of inter-organizational mentoring, as well as to distinguish whether the most relevant results for mentors in the inter-organizational mentoring scenario affect both active and retired mentors.
