What is it about?

Four varieties of sweet potatoes were planted with four levels of nitrogen fertilizers. Their contents of beta carotene, proteins and other nutrients were evaluated. Three varities increased in protein and carotenoid content as a result of the application of nitrogen fertilizer. One variety did not.
