What is it about?
This innovative solid-liquid extraction technology allows to extract actives from vegetables in very shot times compared to maceration. Rapid Solid-Liquid Dynamic Extraction (RSLDE) is based on Extractor Naviglio that is a machine that makes the extraction process an active process.

Why is it important?
It is important because this technology named Extractor Naviglio changes the extractive process that becomes active process due to the effect of pressure-depressure (Naviglio's Principle) while conventional processes are based on diffusion and osmosis principles that make "passive" the extractive process because we have to wait for diffusion of bioactives from inside to the outside of solid matrix.
Perspectives
The perspective is that in future conventional precessess of maceration and percolation will be substituted by RSLDE (Rapid Solid-Liquid Dynamic Extraction) performed by Extractor Naviglio that allows to apply an "active" process of solid-liquid extraction in short times and with high quality of extracts.
