What is it about?
The paper describes an artificial vision system for unmanned aircraft that mimics a human's peripheral and central vision to monitor the air for other aircraft. The system detects and classifies these other aircraft and then predicts their motion, enabling it to avoid colliding with them or to inform others of a potential threat.
