What is it about?
Best selling author Arturo Pérez-Reverte, translated to over 40 languages and with several of his novels turned into movies, has always professed an admiration for classic authors such as Alexandre Dumas or Joseph Conrad, but, What about the claasics in crime fiction? This article aims to explore the similarities between crime fiction authors such as Robert Ludlum, Len Deighton, Somerset Maugham, Eric Ambler or John Le Carré, among others, and the crime fiction plots and characters created by Arturo Pérez-Reverte.
