Why is it important?

This article presents the results from a mainly statistical and comparative analysis regarding the communicative competences and the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) of German exchange students.

Perspectives

Generally, the results confirm that a six-month stay in a foreign country increases the use of ICT and widely improves language skills, which can also be referred to as communicative competences in Spanish for native speakers of German.
