Why is it important?
While bladders are really just containers for storing urine, things can get pretty uncomfortable when they are not working properly. When that happens, there are different tests that can be done, including ultrasound, which is useful because it is non-invasive. However, when doing measurements when there are problems to be diagnosed, it helps to know what a "normal" bladder looks like. It is that data that this study provides. Along way we showed that there are, in fact, small differences between the bladders of men and women, particularly as we age.
