What is it about?
A friendly interface is essential for the elderly to fully benefit from AI health support. AHOBO, a frailty care robot that supports the health maintenance of the elderly in their daily lives, has been developed. In addition to friendly communication, AHOBO supports health maintenance focusing on blood pressure and cognitive maintenance through recreation using memories.

Why is it important?
Flail care requires continuous support in daily life. Physical and psychological frailty care is especially necessary in the home situation. In this study, two types of support systems by AHOBO are implemented to support the elderly in both physical health and psychological aspects. We focus on blood pressure as an indicator of physical frailty care. In addition, we focus on recreational training with personal memory to maintain cognitive function.
Perspectives
The widespread use of the proposed robot as an interface for AI that supports daily life will lead to a society in which AI robots support people from the cradle to the grave.
