What is it about?
Queen Leonor de Plantagenet begins her reign very young. She is mostly voiceless and suffers under the weight of a medieval curse. Living in a teleological society which is going under a process of radicalization, she follows the steps of great queens as Urraca and Leonor of Aquitaine to have a voice of her own and to stand out as the pillar of her kingdom and her lineage. She is mirroring the monarch described in the Siete Partidas, the commentaries of Averroes and some famous queens. KEYWORDS: medieval chronicles, teleological historiography, queens, religious diversity, pillar, voice.
