Why is it important?

The results show that Saudis utilized electronic banking services more frequently than their non-Saudi counterparts and that the majority of non-Saudis claimed never to have used mobile SMS, phone banking, credit cards, or Internet banking. The resident permit (IQAMA) is a major issue.

Perspectives

The study provides empirical facts and contributes to our understanding of electronic banking technology use in a developing country.
