What is it about?
Argumentation analysis helped interpret and analyse pictures that interviewee took during their interview process, even in a non Western setting. This is a case study set in Mozambique where interviewees had to explain the role of Information and Communication Technology centers in their mostly rural towns.

Why is it important?
Most research on argumentation is done in Western settings. Also, the field that studies how information and communication technologies are used in developing countries lacks solid theoretical and methodological qualitative framework of analysis.
Perspectives
I am really proud of having brought this study of a non Western setting into the discussion on Argumentation, as well as having had the chance to reflect on the role of photos in interviews on the subject of ICTs for Development.
