What is it about?
This paper introduces a fourth leadership category: Monstrous leadership. While monstrous leaders, like charismatic leaders, are driven by their passions, monstrous leaders are unable to inspire these passions in followers. As monstrous leaders are obsessively passionate about their job, they provoke distance and resistance among colleagues who have different interests and passions.
