What is it about?
The paper argues that political elites, especially political pundits too often treat and talk about politics in the same way that fans of sports, television shows, and other forms of popular entertainment do - they are essentially 'fans of politics'. In doing so we argue they frame and communicate politics in a way likely to exclude and turn off the general public.
