What is it about?
Designing future Smart Cities demands inclusive and creative methodologies that involve diverse perspectives. The authors propose an innovative card-based game, inspired by human-centred computing discourse to enhance collaboration between governmental organisations and marginalised groups, and to generate more equitable future scenarios.

Why is it important?
The proposed participatory research methodology is specifically designed to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of multi-stakeholder collaboration. In this way, a card-based game serves as a scaffold for evoking dialogue between underrepresented groups and urban decision-makers.
Perspectives
Collaborating with researchers across the fields of Human-Computer Interaction and Information Systems was a invaluable experience, as I endeavored to bring built environment and architectural design considerations to the discussion! Smart City design requires many diverse perspectives to engender caring communities and greater urban livability.
