What is it about?
This is action research on integrating mathematical modeling like the use of number bonds, counting on, and bar models to help students improve their problem-solving performance and enhance their engagement in Math. Findings showed that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean scores in terms of their problem-solving performance and the level of engagement. Hence, the integration of mathematical modeling has an impact on enhancing the problem-solving performance and engagement of students.
