What is it about?

How to independently develop MTI translation teaching resources with ethnic minority characteristics? How to use information technology to carry out Tibet-related CAT teaching? This article discusses the background, structure and functions of the International Publicity Translation Corpus (IPT Corpus) for Tibetan Areas of China through empirical research, combining theory with practice, and validates the translation teaching mode through case study, so as to better train translators and interpreters related to Tibetan culture.

Why is it important?

We determined the construction principle of special corpus (Regionalism and Professionalism), created the corpus structure system of MTI teaching, and constructed a corpus-based teaching mode according to the teaching content and teaching objects.

Perspectives

We hope to provide reference for MTI translation teaching, especially for promoting the inheritance and development of ethnic minority culture through MTI talent cultivation
