What is it about?
Using university employee samples in the U.S. and China, we showed that workplace conflict mediated the relationships between lack of interpersonal justice and organizational effectiveness (performance, OCBs, & CWBs). Employees' harmony value buffered such relationships in China, but intensified these relationships in the U.S.

Why is it important?
Harmony is a central value in China; it received less attention in the Western world. Knowing how harmony will guide employees' workplace interpersonal behaviors is critical in today's globalized management.
