Why is it important?

With pressures on cities for transport efficiency and the impact on lifestyle of long commutes - this trial investigates the potential of alternative work arrangements for government departments and the effectiveness of co-working spaces to support flexibility for employees.

Perspectives

In the digital age it is import to embrace and maximise the potential of connectivity as well as creating lifestyle opportunities that free workers to engage in community and healthy life choices. The role of governments in setting the direction and exploring possibilities in this space should not be underestimated. This project demonstrates QLD Governments initiative to think outside of the square and support alternative work arrangements.
