Too much love will kill you: the development and function of group emotional awareness

What is it about?

Through two studies, we clarify what group emotional awareness is and how the individual awareness of group members and group norms for emotional awareness contribute to its development. We show how group emotional awareness itself and expectations about a group's level of emotional awareness help groups to not transform disagreements about the task into relational conflicts.
