Why is it important?

A bibliometric analysis of micro-level CSR research informs the development of CSR in another perspective by presenting a holistic view of CSR. It shows that doing good comes with Mathew's effects which are not confined to financial performance and shareholder.

Perspectives

I am always very interested in employee related CSR research, which is under the broad category of organisational behaviour. Writing this paper was a great pleasure as I have longed for an opportunity to inform academics, researchers and business organisations of the role of micro-level CSR. I am honored to be able to co-author with Prof. Seigel who is the expert in the area of CSR. Prof. Seigel has more than 43,000 citations and H index of 77. I am also very lucky to commute with Dr. Nees Jan van Eck that have enlightened me so much on the social network analysis. I hope readers, particularly in the area of CSR and micro-level CSR, enjoy reading this paper.
