What is it about?

The paper describes a theoretic model that is able to ensure the foundation of Buddhist economics and Buddhist management practices. The starting point of the argument is the basic Buddhist teaching of the noble eightfold path.

Why is it important?

The paper includes a theoretical model, that cntains three similar mechanism. The first describes the Buddhist path to liberation, the second describes the path of modern economic practices to crises, and the third describes the path of Buddhist economics to the realization of well-being.

Perspectives

The paper shows that Buddhism (e.g. the Buddhist world view) could be a useful alternative to redefine the working model of economics and management practices.
