Explains what factors drive successful trust and commitment relationship between emerging country importers and suppliers from both developed and developing countries. The study based on SEM analysis of primary quantitative data and verified by qualitative findings.

Our findings confirm that cultural similarity facilitates communication, leading to increased knowledge and experience of importers, thereby contributing to an enhanced commitment to build trust in the relationship.

Perspectives

The collaborative study facilitated qualitative exploration of the findings of a quantitative model for some holistic interpretation. This has provided further validity of the findings.
